Lil’ Jammers Kicks Off with a Donation to the National Diaper Bank Network
There aren’t too many companies who start giving with their very first sale.
Though Lil’ Jammerz has just hit the market, founder and creator Melissa Croland-Brandt is already giving back. Shocked and heartbroken by recent natural disasters around the American South, Caribbean and Puerto Rico, Lil’ Jammerz is now pledging to donate 50 diapers to the National Diaper Bank Network for every purchase, from their website, of the already trendy music-streaming toys.
Days after the fledgling company made the decision to kickstart their sales by giving back, Karma struck. Lil’ Jammerz was informed that they had won a coveted 2017 Family Choice Award. The prestigious award serves as a trustworthy recommendation to families and retailers nationwide. Lil’ Jammerz generous decision and sudden popularity will serve to help more families in need of diapers.
“I just can’t imagine it,” Melissa said, “I’m a mom myself, so when I see parents struggling through something like this, my heart just goes out to them. Being a parent is hard work. Imagine losing your home, or not being able to find a store that is open and stocked with diapers because there was a hurricane. We have a duty to help those in need.” Her decision to donate to the National Diaper Bank Network was an extension of that empathy for new parents. “Our children deserve to be hugged and played with and inspired, we shouldn’t have to scrounge just to get them the basic necessities.”
One in three families in the US is affected by diaper need. The National Diaper Bank Network strives to provide families in need with clean diapers (and many other daily items for baby and mom) and does so with their network of over 300 diaper bank programs across the country.
